Dear Republican Friends,

We have a political problem.

ObamaCare is starting to work effectively in our largest state, California, the 5th largest economy in the world. It's also working in red states like Kentucky. Hard working American families with pre-existing conditions are starting to get affordable health care. The monopolies that we put in place are having to adjust their pricing to more competitive levels - this threatens the profits of the parasitic "administrative" layer that we inserted between doctor and patient. Even worse comrades, the Federal website has improved, and it looks like they may get it fixed.

I don't have to tell you what this means. Our political party is invested in the failure of ObamaCare. If more and more American Families start to get affordable Health Care, it will kill our party. The last thing we need is for our health care system to provide broad coverage to more Americans. We have a very powerful donor base of doctor's associations, health insurance companies, medical equipment providers and pharmaceuticals ... all of whom fund our elections and lifestyles. They depend on the monopoly pricing power that we gave them - they depend on being able to raise premiums at 5x the rate of inflation.

We have been able to hinder the launch of ObamaCare so far. We have propagandized every glitch. We have convinced many Red States not to participate, so that it is harder for the insurance companies to get the needed volume to lower rates as planned. So far we are winning. However, we have to find a way to prevent hardworking families in California and Kentucky from getting health care. We have to kill their health care before it reaches them (and helps them), otherwise we will never be able to take it away. (And then . . . our donors will lose the very monopoly which allows them to fund out elections.)

Comrades, how do we stop ObamaCare from reaching American Families? How do we keep these struggling families uninsured. Please submit ideas. Let's destroy the hopes of these families before Christmas. Let's do it for Jesus. Tell me your ideas for getting this done.

Comrade,

Through lobbying and election funding, Health insurance monopolies have diverted trillions into the pockets of politicians. They lobby government for a reason. If they were truly private, they wouldn't buy favors from government. Remember: American capitalists are not stupid. They don't spend a dime without expecting and getting something in return.

Once you understand how much the health insurance industry has paid the GOP, you will realize that they cannot let the Democrats destroy the health care monopolies.

Do you know how much Pfizer, Amgen, Merck and Eli Lilly contributed to the Republicans for the 2003 Drug Bill alone? Do you know how much these companies paid the GOP for the no-bid contracts and monopoly pricing that was written into that drug bill? Comrade, I know you watch FOX News, which never reports anything that Dear Leader doesn't want reported, but surely you know how much money government has accepted from the so called private sector.

Comrade, we Republicans essentially gave these drug companies a state protected monopoly - and now ObamaCare is trying to dismantle it. This means they will have to compete for all those news consumers (rather than fleecing Americans through non-competitive monopoly pricing).

Comrade, they didn't invest trillions in our election efforts just so they could compete on the free market. They paid us for a competitive advantage - they paid us for monopolies.

We must protect the monopolists which fund out elections. Don't you get it?

Dear Friends on both sides of the Aisle,

I know how hard it is to see our friends, family and neighbors finding themselves in such turmoil related to healthcare these days. Just knowing that it hasn't come full circle yet and people are wondering what they can do, I guess we can do nothing but wait.

We all know, that the Obamacare website most likely not give us the answers we seek, but the president will HAVE to answer to it somehow. And we have legislators waiting to do the right thing., Not only the Republicans and independents that stood against Obamacare, but many Democrats that now see that it was the wrong way to go as well.

Changes will have to be made. And it won't take just one party. We see what happens when one party works without the help of the other. We need two parties to work together. And that is what healthcare needs. So, let's all be patient, and look for answers TOGETHER.

Hmmmmm. Work..........together? What a novel approach. Lets do it!

In CA 1,000,000 got booted off their insurance ("If you like your plan you can keep your plan. Period") and 75,000 signed up for ObamaCare

Um, that's what we're supposed to be afraid of?

That's how Progressives view Success?

Oh, this is no problem at all...

When the polls show that Americans are happy with "Obamacare", they'll just switch gears and remind everyone that it was fostered by the Heritage Foundation and that before it became "Obamacare" is was "Romneycare"...

Simple as pie and repubs are covered either way. (This is easy for a GOP that is so... let's say, "flexible".)

(edit: And if not... there'll always be a Benghazi...)

Thx :)

It's working so well Obama is now viewed as a liar by the majority of the American population as well as his approval rating has tanked on all credible polling agency's. I guess it's all ok because Obama's not running for re-election, he can fuck up and destroy the middle class with no consequences what so ever.

Impossible, Obama has taken every opportunity to divide the country and so have the Republicans as well as every democrat. Nothing will get done that works, that's how we got Obamacare.

The OP is just pissed because the Republicans were hurting after the shut down and now Obama through Obamacare managed to take the lead on loss of credibility. They really hoped the shutdown would give them an edge to keep the Democratic war party in power.

I know. But there has to be someone... someone that is a relative nobody that is not identified with either party that can talk to the nation and make them understand that we just can't keep on going this way. That Reid has to go. Pelosi has to go. That McConnell and Boehner have to go and we start working together for the good of the country.

You might have a point if obamacare was working in California but it isn't and you don't.

Ah right, we need a Republican president so we can end Social Security, eliminate Medicare, repeal the ACA, bust unions, lower taxes on "the job creators" because that will save the middle class. Anything that takes wealth away from the middle concentrates it into the hands of a few of the wealthiest is exactly what will build a strong middle class. 80% of the wealth is in the hands of the top 1%, we can expect a deluge of trickle down any second now.

Don't worry, Londoner, it will take care of itself.

Every day more people learn how much more their healthcare will cost on the individual market or how much higher their deductibles will be through their employers.

The media loves drama and Obama's justice department poisoned the well with them, so they'll get the word out. The mass Obama hysteria which gripped the nation seems to have broken.

It has been an expensive but valuable lesson about trusting Democrats with control over our lives but we have turned the corner. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
