SCOTUS Supports Trump on Tranny Troop Ban

This is why I said there are issues with it. They would need special accommodations.

We're talking about accommodations for a few weeks during boot camp. Beyond that, they would have their own rooms. Now, the issue is, would denying them the ability to serve infringe on their personal liberties? Remember, if you can deny something to someone for a reason you agree with, the other side can deny you something for a reason THEY agree with.
The problem is their deny is from mental illness. We conform to sanity, not INsanity.

I understand, which is why I say that one of the qualifications is, they need to fully be able to carry out their duties.

Again, this is a slippery slope, because when democrats are in power, what things will they deny to you, because they consider "conservatism" to be a mental illness.

There are just a few complications with trans in the military. Basic training. Mainly, that it's men who convert to women that join more often than women who become men.

As far as trans men joining, they would have to make special dorm accommodations and showering. The women are not likely going to be comfortable with a biological man in their bunk house, and showering at the time. They would have to be given special accommodations.

they would basically have to build new dorms or renovate existing ones to segment a part off specifically for trans men.
Trans could never join the military unless they already had sex change surgery.

How do you know what the fuck they need? And medication was not even mentioned
Transgenders are not deployable in the military due to medication requirements, same as people who have diabetes. They kicked a close friend of mine out of the Navy for developing Type I diabetes in his 20s.

Bullshit. You never served in the military obviously. There are no rooms in a foxhole. In training, my daughter's battle buddy was a guy. IOW, they slept beside each other!

there are 4,200 trans troops in the US military. Wow! Can you believe it ?

And yet I never ran into one of them between the years of 1956 to 2024.

Obviously, the reason why so many are flocking into the military are because the government was willing to pay their very costly surgery and treatment to convert them for them.

Then the objective was to work their way up in the ranks to eventually hold leadership positions in the military and government.

It is called a soft coup.

I am actually quite fascinated by this anti trans hysteria. What are you people so afraid of ? Can trans people harm you in some way? Do they threaten your own sense of gender identity?

You're kidding, right? They have humiliated women in showers and locker-rooms, given women concussions and bad injuries trying to compete against them, ruined careers, stolen medals and demoralized our combat soldiers. Worse, they try to claim gender is just something you can pick or change out of thin air like flipping a light switch, while insisting that I treat them as normal under threat of incarceration if I so much as make a pronoun mistake in talking to them while forcing the public to pay for their healthcare costs. Then they have schools steal children and convert them to another gender while trying to keep it secret from their own parents.

People who think they are born in the wrong body need deep psychological counseling, research and heavy medication.

I did actually.

Not every job in the military is rooting out foxholes. Actually, from what i gather, combat ground troops are about 10% of the military. The rest are mechanics, office personnel, intelligence personnel..etc..

I agree in bmt it would be an issue and I said that would be a problem because how do they keep them separate. Beyond that, it becomes another issue.

You're getting mad at me because I'm looking at this issue with zero emotion attached...I'm looking at it purely from a freedoms and rights position. Again, go down this hole and I'm a few years, if democrats take over, they could be reversing this on repubs.

Why would that be?
Because that was the rules for joining. You couldn't just identify as the other gender. You had to commit!

You also had to have been transitioned for a certain period, with no mental issues and have had a psychological evaluation. That was Biden's new policy after he was elected. Prior to that under Trump, they simply were not eligible at all.

Several transgender individuals have served with distinction in the U.S. military and have been decorated for their service. Examples include Kristin Beck, a Navy SEAL who received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and other medals. Other notable examples include Allyson Robinson, a West Point graduate and Army veteran, and Monica Helms, a Navy veteran and founder of TAVA. Additionally, individuals like Emily Shilling, a Navy pilot with extensive combat missions, have challenged policies related to transgender service members.

Here's a more detailed look at some decorated transgender service members:
  • Kristin Beck:
Served 20 years in the Navy SEALs, including time with the Naval Special Warfare Development Group and SEAL Team Six. She received the Bronze Star with Combat Distinguishing Service, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Purple Heart.

  • Allyson Robinson:
A West Point graduate and Army veteran. She has also served in prominent leadership roles in organizations like the Human Rights Campaign.

  • Monica Helms:
A Navy veteran who served from 1970-1978. She is known for creating the Transgender Pride Flag and founding the Transgender American Veterans Association (TAVA).

  • Emily Shilling:
A decorated Navy pilot with over 60 combat missions and experience as a test pilot. She has been a lead plaintiff in legal challenges against policies impacting transgender service members, as reported by PBS.

  • Dr. Rachel Levine:
Became the nation's first openly transgender four-star officer when appointed to lead the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, according to NBC News.

  • Shari Zabel:
Served a full 20-year career as a fighter pilot in the Air Force, then as a civilian with NORAD. She transitioned from male to female in 2013, according to the Transgender American Veterans Association.
These examples demonstrate the significant contributions of transgender individuals to the U.S. military and highlight the importance of their continued service and recognition.

The Pentagon has spent $15 million in the past five years to treat 1,892 transgender troops, including $11.5 million for psychotherapy and $3.1 million for surgeries, according to Defense Department data provided to Military.com

Of the 243 gender reassignment surgeries performed on military personnel since 2016, 50 took place between Jan. 1, 2016 and Dec. 31, 2017, and 193 occurred from Jan. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2019 -- the two years after President Donald Trump announced via Twitter that he would bar transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military.

Is that like a Ham and Eggs breakfast? The Chicken is involved but the Pig is committed.......
