PARKCHESTER, The Bronx — Cops are searching for the suspects who viciously attacked a man while shouting “ISIS, ISIS," as civil rights groups call for the FBI to launch a hate crime probe.
The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, Sunday morning called on the FBI to join the hate crime investigation of an attack on a Muslim man by assailants reportedly shouting “ISIS” during the beating.

Mujibur Rahman, 43, a Bangladeshi Muslim, who was wearing traditional Muslim attire, was picking up his 9-year-old niece from school on Watson Avenue and Pugsley Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Friday, when the two men attacked him.
They punched him in the head and knocked him onto the ground where they kicked him several times, police sources said.
The NYPD has launched its own hate crime investigation.
Rahman was taken to Jacobi Hospital to be treated for bruising to his head and face, cops said.
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. released the following statement:
“The Bronx is one of the most diverse places in the world, and we celebrate that diversity every single day. Friday’s hateful attack on a Muslim individual in Parkchester is in no way representative of the shared values of the people of this borough.
“An attack on one of us over race, religion, gender or sexual orientation is an attack on us all. The people of The Bronx are united in their condemnation of this abhorrent incident. My office will continue to work with the New York City Police Department and community leaders to bring the perpetrators to justice. We wish the victim of this attack a speedy recovery, and our thoughts are with him and his family during this difficult time,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
Anyone with information about this attack can contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

Muslims should prepare for the backlash. Their decades of silence is costing them now.

Whites condemned and mostly destroyed our racist KKK cells. Muslims havent.

Hate crimes happen everyday, sadly the only ones ever making it to the news is where a white is the suspect.
