So Seattle cops can't use CS, beanbags, or less lethal rounds.

Seattle police chief warns council of ban on crowd control tools ahead of weekend

As City Council’s legislation goes into effect, it will create even more dangerous circumstances for our officers to intervene using what they have left – riot shields and riot batons,” Best wrote on the Seattle Police Blotter. “For these reasons, SPD will have an adjusted deployment in response to any demonstrations this weekend. The Council legislation gives officers no ability to safely intercede to preserve property in the midst of a large, violent crowd.”

This letter went out from the PD saying they basically can't defend property from large violent crowds.

So the question becomes, if a person now defends their property and it goes lethal, are they to be prosecuted? If the cops won't stop lawlessness, what is the recourse? Just let your property be destroyed?

I read somewhere a judge rejected it.

Here it is, but it smells like leftist bullshit.

So much worry over nothing.

Don't sweat what happens to "personal property" in Seattle.

In Communist cities there IS NO "personal property". All property, all goods, belong to the mob.

Resistance is futile? If you don't believe me ask the city council YOU elected.

Yes, just saw the article. It wasn't rejected, it was given a stay pending resolution of the lawsuit.

Can you even own firearms in Seattle?
And even if you can are you going to end up like the McCloskey's who live in a castle doctrine state?

When things get this bad, one has to remember that the police are also there to protect the criminals from us.

They're talking about the local PD not the feds.

Unfortunately yes.
If and when the gloves come off it's gonna get nasty...for the rioters.

I think the feds are suing saying (ironically) that the changes in policies were not given to the DOJ to review under a consent decree about previous excessive force cases.

In 383 Emperor Maximus addressed the Britons in Londinium and uttered these words "you must look to yourselves for your own defense". Rome was withdrawing because the Collapse of Rome had already begun. In 27 years it would be all over.

7/25/20 might Mark the end of the United States as police departments starting with Seattle abandon the cities they were sworn to protect. City leaders are already claiming fifedome separate from an overarching federal authority. Federal agents are described as invading. Unless this is stopped and it won't be, this is the spiral intobp collapse.

The federal government owns federal court houses. The City is demanding that they let their property be destroyed.

That is more Portland. This is the Seattle city council passing a law basically making it impossible for the Seattle PD to use less than lethal force tools.

The real issue is the Seattle City council trying this shit in the first place.
