Well there goes the "theories of"--well he just didn't understand the question, or it was just a slip of the tongue. This form is why the now cough-cough Attorney General is refusing to go back under oath in front of congress. He said no contact with Russians and he signed that form.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions had two contacts with Russian envoy Sergey Kislyak during the presidential campaign, Justice Department officials confirmed. The Washington Post first reported the meetings Wednesday. When he was asked in his confirmation hearing what he would do if there was evidence anyone associated with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign had communicated with the Russians, Sessions replied that he wasn’t aware of any such “activities,” and added, “I did not have communications with the Russians.” A questionnaire he filled out for the committee also asked whether he had had contact with the Russians, to which Sessions, according to the Post, wrote, “No.”

Sessions has history of leaving things out of this paper work..

Sen. Sessions' Senate Judiciary Questionnaire Is Shockingly Incomplete A Full and Fair Process Requires a Far More Thorough Submission

It is striking how little information Senator Sessions has provided from his service in high-profile positions as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama (1981-1993), Attorney General of Alabama (1995-1997), and even his first term as U.S. Senator (1997-2002). For these 20 years of public service, he has provided: 10 media interviews, 4 speeches outside the U.S. Senate, 2 op-eds, and an academic article. He also provides a list of press releases (but none for his dozen years as U.S. Attorney) and a list of dates on which he participated in various Senate Committee markups and business meetings—but it is worth noting that the press releases from his service as Alabama Attorney General and the markup transcripts are not transparently available, for example on the Senate Judiciary Committee website, and do not include even a title or subject.

It doesn't matter, we're in the first season of Reality America. Look, we live in a corrupt society with a criminal political/economic/legal system. The only time anyone is upset about corrupt behavior is when it arises on the part of "the other guys". Nothing will happen to him.

And even if it did, it wold never go down like it would were it one of the unsubstantial people.

No no--this administration is going down in a ball of flames, and it's going to take the entire Republican party with it.

There has never been a President that has been involved in so many scandals, and very serious ones at that, and he hasn't even been in office for 2 months.

Obama ordered this Russian investigation done BEFORE he left office. We know for a fact that Russian phone lines were wiretapped and I imagined that happened during the RNC convention when Trump campaign surrogates were meeting with the Russian ambassador in Cleveland. Anyone talking to the Russians is going to be wiretapped and recorded.

Another national security adviser to the Trump campaign, J.D. Gordon, also disclosed Thursday that he had met with Kislyak, this time during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July. That meeting was first reported by USA Today.Gordon had advocated for language in the GOP platform that the Ukrainians not be armed in their battle against pro-Russian separatists, an effort was ultimately successful. But Gordon says he was simply advocating what Trump himself had expressed -- that he did not wish to see major war break out over the situation in Ukraine.

So they didn't meet to trade cookie recipes.

Several sources state that Obama PRESERVED INTELLIGENCE upon leaving office, because there was damming evidence. (This is coming from Fox News so it has the right wing gold stamp of approval for you to READ.)

In the final hours of Barack Obama's presidency, some White House officials reportedly raced to spread and preserve information about possible communications between associates of then-candidate Donald Trump and Russians. According to The Times, after Obama asked for an investigation into Russian tampering into the elections, officials found some "damning" evidence.

Obama wouldn't have handed this evidence over the FBI Director James Comey who is also under investigation for his unprecedented interference into the election, and he certainly would not have given it to Republicans who would have immediately squashed it.
DOJ to Investigate James Comey and the FBI

So every time one of them lies under Oath, another leak pops out to prove their lying. First Flynn, then Sessions. Sessions actually filled out a form prior going into the confirmation meeting checking a box that he had no contact with Russians and signed it. This is why he is refusing to go back to congress and testify again under oath. It is a FELONY to lie under oath to congress. Flynn lied to the FBI which is another FELONY. Sessions squashed the FBI investigation into Flynn and is reported that there will be no charges against Flynn.

Flynn reportedly lied to FBI about sanctions talk with Russian envoy

This Senate investigation is the 2nd investigation, for show only. There will be more leaks as this moves along.

The President alone CANNOT order a wiretap of American Citizens.

The second possibility is that Trump is correct, and the Obama administration did in fact tap his phones. But if this was the case, before the tap could occur it’s highly likely Trump committed a very serious crime, including treason. No president can order a wiretap on his own. For federal agents to obtain a wiretap on Trump, or anyone else, the Justice Department would first have had to convince a federal judge that it had gathered sufficient evidence of probable cause to believe Trump had committed a serious crime or was an agent of a foreign power, depending on whether it was a criminal or foreign intelligence wiretap. In which case we have someone in the White House who shouldn’t be making decisions that could endanger America or the world.
