So Climatechangevangelistas... if global warming was caused by fossil fuels what damage are wind turbines?

Wind turbines taking energy out of the atmosphere is not an opinion. They create electrical energy and, because of Conservstion of Energy, it has to come from somewhere.

#WHATOPINION
That's not what is being said.

#SHITFORBRAINS

Wind turbines do not create heat (or very little). Fossil and nuke plants create huge amounts of heat
And? Create heat? Is that the main reason you think as Joe Biden guarantees
We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019,

So Biden wants to reduce heat?? That's what you are saying
"Fossil and nuke plants create huge amounts of heat"

And you people forget there isn't anything like a free lunch, so are you ready to pay nearly $2 Trillion
to meet Biden's guarantee "We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019,

And if he makes good on his guarantee using a wind turbine that requires up to 80 acres of land or
33,440,000 acres.

How many wind turbines to replace electricity generated by fossil fuels?
A) In 2023, about 4,178 billion kilowatthours (kWh) (or about 4.18 trillion kWh) of electricity were generated at utility-scale electricity generation facilities in the United States.
About 60% of this electricity generation was from fossil fuels—coal, natural gas, petroleum, and other gases. 60% is 2,508,000,000,000 kWh.

B) How much electricity generated by one wind turbine? In excess of 6 million kWh every year

C) To make up the difference of "rid fossil fuels" in electric generating will require
418,000 wind turbines or at 80 acres per turbine this would be 33,440,000 ACRES

D) Annual cost of leasing land at be valued at around $50 and $200/acre/year or $6,688,000,000

E) Cost of wind turbine:The typical wind turbine is 2-3 MW in power, so most turbines cost in the $2-4 million dollar range. Operation and maintenance runs an additional $42,000-$48,000 per year according to research on wind turbine operational cost.
Total cost to build 418,000 wind turbines at $3 million each or $1,254,000,000,000 and yearly operation and maintenance cost of $18,810,000,000
So who will pay the nearly $1.9 trillion for construction, leasing and operations?
Also this doesn't account for the additional transmission lines needed to move the electricity!

Why can't you prove it? Who the hell are you? An expert in weather, or climate, and where are your studies? You are full of frigging totally uninformed!
Wind turbines convert one form of energy into another. That conversion, kinetic to electromagnetic, is engineered to create as little heat as possible. Large losses of heat would be uneconomic, therefore scrupulously avoided.

You're missing the part where WM's disturb the natural heating/cooling thermodynamics of the land where they have been erected.

You admit you don't know what was being said............... :hhello:
I admit that the title and OP’s post made me realize it wasn’t worth reading. The responses to my posts then proved my suspicion. No one explained how wind turbines create heat. I’ve explained why that’s ridiculous, but I’ve heard nothing but “read the article”. This is a discussion forum, not a book club.

You obviously misread the OP article. No one said anything about WT's creating heat.

Can you hear me now..............:ahole-1:

Utility-scale large wind farms are rapidly growing in size and numbers all over the world.
Data from a meteorological field campaign show that such wind farms can significantly affect near-surface air temperatures. These effects result from enhanced vertical mixing due to turbulence generated by wind turbine rotors
Data from the field campaign show that near-surface air temperatures downwind of the wind farm are higher than upwind regions during night and early morning hours, whereas the reverse holds true for the rest of the day (Fig. 2A). Thus, this wind farm has a warming effect during the night and a cooling effect during the day.

Anyone concerned about the warming of the earth's temperature?
Anyone concerned about your abysmal grasp of basic science? Please explain why you think that mixing is warming the Earth.

Well, unlike YOU I provided the experts opinions... not my own as I don't consider myself qualified as obviously you consider yourself to be! Are you a scientist? Do you have a college degree if even a high school diploma?

Where is your proof... I submitted the links to validate the statements...YOU? ZERO!
Tell me, you probably blame fossil fuels as Biden does when he said
I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019,

for the current 422.52 ppm CO2 level but tell me why according to the experts...
Concentrations of CO 2 in the atmosphere were as high as 4,000 ppm during the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago,
Was there fossil fuel emissions 500 million years ago???

They change the temperature, at the surface, no different than citrus farmers using fans to prevent freezing.

That is the answet,

.01 % of the amount used by wind turbines.

Concrete is made with coal
You’re claiming more concrete is used to build wind turbines than fossil fuel plants and nuke plants?

You’re really that stupid?
