so many eggs!

8 bucks for 18 currently at walmart......great value brand. just like your post, they have 3 stars with 40% giving them 1 star crying they are cracked, do people NOT check the eggs before buying them?, you always do. They also don't pack them right and they get damaged from store to their door. The times I bought store eggs I have yet to have one cracked when I unpacked them.

hannaford's brings back a good memory, I worked there in the dairy dept when I was in college, I was in charge or putting away freight of course but also ordering the department and DSD which was eggs and milk. broken eggs from the vendor had to be tossed but counted to get store credit
hot summers the cooler felt awesome!

We have a flu killing the chickens. Cure that flu and then give the roosters some overtime to replenish the flock. (just don't get Fauci involved) It is what it is. No sense in bitching about it.
It's the Kun-bird flu fuckup.

I was appraising a home in Fremont, CA once upon a time for a mortgage firm. The property was a Condominium. The place came with sounds. Sounds of Roosters crowing. Some may think they crow just early in the AM. Those suckers crow all damned day. The fact is to me the neighbors huge flock of Cage Free chickens cut the value of the Condominium. Who would want to buy a Condominium where all day long you hear loud Roosters raising hell? As to cage free being nice, do chickens really care?
We have a place nearby with chickens and roosters. A few are fine, which is the case ~ country and soothing. A chicken farm is another matter altogether.

These were really loud. I never had a chance to count them but imagine there were well over 50 of them. My appraisal did not include sounds of chickens either.

What is Challenge butter? I set the heat..med-hi-medium-low, don't drop eggs until the butter starts turning a little brown.
I use butter.
Exactly the same way I cook mine. Challenge is the brand name of the butter I use. It's worth the extra price. :)

Today's price for one dozen cage-free Lucerne eggs....$6.99. Wow! That is a delicious drop.

Meh, I use Aldi's eggs and butter. Some of Aldi's butter is AAA.

Not from the Biden low prices. It is three times that cost then now.
