Texas leads the nation in clean energy production

SMH with disgust. Biden says Clean Energy and the "righties" go BAT SHIT CRAZY. Now the "righties" think clean energy is "In"

No way Jose. No

Why need California, when we have Texas! :113:

God Bless America!

LOL.....Yeah, "streamlining" means the state of TX taking land under 3rd party eminent domain.

As far as the red states go there is less real freedom in TX than the all rest.....And some of the blue ones too.

Most states scrambled to pass laws barring the practice after the SCOTUS's bogus City of New London decision, but TX embraced it.

This is nearly all being done by private companies, not the state.

Beat it, halfwit.
Double LOLLZZZZZ
Wind stopped blowing and Texas had no electricity and people froze and died.

In February 2021, the state of Texas suffered a major power crisis, which came about during three severe winter storms sweeping across the United States on February 10–11, 13–17,and 15–20. The storms triggered the worst energy infrastructure failure in Texas state history, leading to shortages of water, food, and heat.[8] More than 4.5 million homes and businesses were left without power, some for several days. At least 246 people were killed directly or indirectly, with some estimates as high as 702 killed as a result of the crisis.

And just how did you think they got all the land for facilities and transmission lines? There is scant public land in TX.

The state took the land by eminent domain and gave it to the 3rd party companies under "the public good".

Second worse SCOTUS decision since Citizens United.

The rest of Texas needs to stop listening to the liberals who live there.

The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) said last week that power developers in the state submitted 125 formal applications under the Texas Energy Fund (TEF) for the development of almost 56 gigawatts of new natural gas power generation in the coming years.

In August 2023, Governor Abbott directed the PUCT to form a working group to study and plan for the use of advanced nuclear reactors in Texas. Over the past year, the working group developed key recommendations and strategies to position Texas as No. 1 in the advanced nuclear industry.

Streamlined permitting and construction processes, and a state government that values progress and innovation is leading Texas to the forefront of clean energy.

Backwards blue states like California can't keep up.

If California had spent the $200 billion dollars on desalination plants run by solar panel fields instead of a high-speed rail that so far doesn't have a single foot of track run.... right now they would have a major need fulfilled.

Solar does not provide enough energy to run a desalination plant. One reason they are rare in California
