Seven years and then a weak, wimpy sort-of-recovery. So what in hell was the Great Magician waiting for? Didn't He understand He wouldn't be running again?

Seven years ago the economy was near collapse, American citizens were seeing jobs disappear at rates not seen since the Great Depression, housing was in free fall and a run on the banks was a real possibility. GWB was at the desk in the oval office and Obama was the President Elect.

Obama took office in Jan 2009 without a play book! No President has ever faced the myriad of problems he inherited from the Bush Administration. And of course, assholes and ideologues piss, moan and whine he alone didn't fix the problems in six days and play golf on Sunday.

I wrote, "alone" since history, not history revised by the mendacious right wing, has shown the R. Party, butt hurt by the vote of the people, worked very hard to get back the power they had lost. With a callous disregard for the American Citizenry they roadblocked common sense efforts to improve the lives of average citizens using race, religion, place of birth and the RED SCARE (Socialism!!!) against the new president. The failed ideology of don't tax, don't spend and let the market place fix what human greed had nearly destroyed was and remains a fantasy.

The debt incurred as a result of the Great Recession will be mitigated by taxes paid in a robust economy, and that will only be realized when the members of The Congress put our country and its citizens first, and not their own job, their political party and an economic theory which benefits the few and not the many.

ISIS is evil, and needs to be fought by: a) killing command and control; b) cutting their funding; c) applying sanctions to State supporters of money and arms; and d) pitting other Islamic State's troops on the ground to fight the fight.

I follow the clues, facts, history and the effects of policy with the understanding that simple people like you have nothing to offer but hackneyed phrases; a foundation for the idiot-grams you post so often.
