The Republican Party bosses, neocon ideologues and corporate crony shills and lobbyists are fighting both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump tooth and nail because they realize BOTH of them are bad news for the interdests of the corporate crony network and the Globalist elites. So they are using Cruz to prevent Trump from getting a majority of delegates, then screw both Trump and Cruz over in an open convention and deleting the current Rule 40B which restricts anyone from being nominated that has less than a majority of delegates in EACH of 8 states or more.
So the obvious deal that needs to be done here is between Trump and Cruz to oppose changing Rule 40B, and both promising to use their delegates together to prevent the neocons from taking over the convention.
Now this would require some Presidential vision and sublime cooperation that looks beyond the current political rhetoric toward the long term best interests of both groups. But Trump and Cruz could do it.
Some of their followers already are.
