The constitution actually mentions immigration but all it says it congress has the power "to establish a uniform rule of naturalization". That's it. And yet from that the feds have declared they have control of all issues re immigration!!

The C never mentions deportation and so, by the tenth amendment, the states are in charge of it and they need to make the point that they will start exercising their constitutional duty.

Fact is that, according to the constitution, nearly all issues are state issues and 99% of our federal laws are unconstitutional. And 100% of the laws written by the supreme court.

You are wrong, the Constitution is clear that fed power is supreme in this case, and that is the end of it.

You don't even understand the issue. Where does the constitution give the feds authority to deport illegals?

It doesn't and that means the states have the authority.

It's your claim, that you have not supported with case law. SCOTUS interprets the Constitution, not you.

Give us case law if you disagree.

If the Framers wanted the States to have more authority, they would've kept more of the Articles of Confederation.

But they didn't and the States don't!

Damn! Then all of that civil rights stuff back in the '60's was illegal. Damn! We need to correct that error as soon as possible. Let's get those "Colored Only" drinking fountains back in working order! I ain't seen one good lynching in years. The South shall rise again!!!

.

SCOTUS did not interpret the constitution in this case. They just rewrote it. Show us where the C gives feds the authority to deport illegals.

BTW - there is no longer any such thing as case law. It was destroyed in bush v gore 2000.

BS - the tenth amendment proves the founding fathers believed in states rights.
