You have big GOP events like the "Restore America" or "Restore America's honor" or some such. They are about taking us back to a time that never existed. When there were slaves or there was a lack of civil rights or gays were all in the closet.
Then you have big Democratic events like Global Citizen's Festival. End Extreme Poverty or Hunger. Or a pro education or health care event.
Now, you can say the two events are non partisan, but seriously, which party is likely to support which event and which event is likely to support which party?
Why the dramatic difference in events? Every year, there are a number of such events. Yet, as soon as you hear about the event, you know if it's more Republican or more Democrat. Why the huge difference?
