You've never heard of the Wars of Religion? ... it's the death penalty to be Protestant in a Catholic country, and vise versa ... some places and at some times Jews and Muslims were excused from the bloodshed ... other times and places they were slaughtered off as well ... this didn't end until the 1990's with the Good Friday Accords in Northern Ireland ... how did you miss these 500 years of European history? ...
