This video is from my sister's church in Northern California...this was for Easter 2015, check out the Brady Bunch style opener to the song "This is Amazing Grace"

I am a Christian and a musician but find so much inspiration all around. I have so many faves. Here is one: Erik Esenvalds "Stars". The ethereal sound you hear is the choir playing water glasses. Esenvalds studied at a Baptist Theological Seminary. The lyrics are a poem by Sara Teasdale:



Alone in the night
On a dark hill
With pines around me
Spicy and still

And a heaven full of stars
Over my head
White and topaz
And misty red;

Myriads with beating
Hearts of fire
The aeons
Cannot vex or tire;

Up the dome of heaven
Like a great hill
I watch them marching
Stately and still

And I know that I
Am honored to be
Witness
Of so much majesty
