You avoided the question. IN january 2020, Trump effusively praised the cooperation he was getting from the Chinese government. Praised their transparency and cooperation. Why would he say that if he wasn't getting cooperation from the Chinese?

The problem isn't what he said. Yes, he said stupid shit about Covid like calling it a hoax, saying it would clear up by April, wistfully suggesting people could inject bleach.
