The template is being followed to the letter. FOX reports that the White House is giving inside, proprietary information on the progress of trade talks with Wall Street executives.

This is not capitalism. This is corporatism.

I'm looking forward to the defense of this.

“Besides this NOT being insider trading (again I know a lot about this subject) where’s the progressive MSM outrage over the constant drumbeat of national security stuff thats leaked to newspapers?

sure it is, just in reverse.......~S~

If you're not giving highly valuable, ACTIONABLE information to EVERYONE at the SAME TIME, you are perverting capitalism. That is an absolutely foundational rule, and it's no secret on Wall Street.

From the Wall Street boardroom to the street-level traders and financial advisors, everyone in the industry signs an annual declaration that they are not participating in anything like this. Your registration with your parent company is not renewed if you don't agree to it. This is an absolutely core tenet of the industry.

That appears to be fine with this White House.

From the article:

Citing “senior Wall Street execs with ties to the White House,” Gasparino wrote on X that people within Trump’s administration have held private discussions with business leaders about an “agreement in principle with India.” He further reported that the deal could be used as a template for other trade deals the administration is working on with Japan and other countries. Markets have taken sharp hits amid uncertainty surrounding Trump’s tariffs and trade deals.

“People inside the Trump White House are alerting Wall Street execs they are nearing an agreement in principle on trade with India, according to my sources who are senior Wall Street execs w ties to the White House,” Gasparino reported. “No details on timing, and recall that we have been here before with Japan only to have the goal posts changed, and terms renegotiated. But if this holds, the India deal being envisioned will include agreed upon goals, and issues that have been addressed and resolved as well as a deadline for the fully-baked trade pact, my sources say.”

Retard: Your thread headline makes an accusation. Your link — however — shows that it’s merely some dickhead reporter’s allegation.

You’re a bad joke.

You got him this time…and this time you really really really mean it.

They're absolutely fine with it. This is ANTI-capitalism.

They're either neofascists themselves, or they're "useful idiots".

Which one? It really doesn't matter.
They don't believe their savior from us, would ever do that, Mac....to them, it has to be fake news.

We all know what it’s called when government and big business combine. It’s been going on for a long time in this country, but maybe Don will make evident to all.

They say they're Constitutionalists, but follow a guy who has literally suggested suspending the Constitution.

They say they're Christians, but follow a guy who is pretty much the opposite of Jesus.

They say they're Capitalists, but follow a guy who spits in Capitalism's face by giving Wall Street inside info.

I don't think they have any fucking idea what they're talking about.

So just what is privileged information here???

People also ask

Is there a tariff from India to the USA?

AI Overview

Yes, there is a tariff on goods imported from India to the US. As of April 2, 2025, the US has imposed a 27% tariff on imports from India, which is currently suspended for 90 days, until July 9, 2025. This tariff was enacted as part of a broader policy to address trade imbalances and promote a more reciprocal relationship between the two countries. While this tariff is currently suspended for some goods, a basic 10% tariff remains in place for all countries, including India.

Elaboration:

  • Tariff Implementation:
The US introduced a 27% tariff on imports from India, effective April 9, 2025, as part of a broader trade initiative.
  • Suspension:
The 27% tariff was suspended for 90 days, until July 9, 2025, for most countries except China.
  • Baseline Tariff:
A 10% baseline tariff remains in effect for all countries, including India, regardless of the suspension.
  • Justification:
The tariff was justified as a response to what the US viewed as unfair trade practices, particularly India's higher average tariffs on US exports.
  • Exceptions:
Pharmaceuticals are exempt from the 27% tariff, recognizing their vital role in global health.
  • Impact:
This tariff is expected to increase import costs for US businesses relying on Indian suppliers, impacting various sectors like gems, jewelry, textiles, and agriculture.
  • Ongoing Negotiations:
Negotiations between the US and India are underway to potentially reach a bilateral trade agreement that could address the tariff issue.
  • Potential for Retaliation:
India may consider retaliatory measures against the US, potentially triggering a broader trade war.
