The problem here is that Trump dealt with the coronavirus, Biden with the war in the Ukraine. Both of these things impacted their presidency and would have impacted anyone's presidency.

Both had unemployment below 4%

GDP has risen more under Biden than it rose under Trump.

No wars, Biden pulled out of Afghanistan, the US hasn't been at war.

If you want to count the Ukraine, then under Trump you count Afghanistan, you count Syria etc.

What are the problems when looking at Trump's time in office?

He didn't do anything. The economy has been going up since 2012 because that's what happens with boom and bust. Boom and bust benefits the rich, they get rich betting on the stock market which they know is going to keep going up. Then they know it's going to come crashing down and that's when they make a real killing.

In 2008-2012 7 million people lost their homes. What did Trump (or Biden) do to stop this from happening? Nothing. It'll happen again and again and again and income inequality in the US will keep rising.

Trump's claims of no wars... well... not really, as I said, Afghanistan. He signed the release of 5,000 Taliban which effectively handed over Afghanistan to the Taliban. That was one of the worst deals in US foreign policy.

He claims the war in the Ukraine wouldn't have happened, just like he claimed Gershkovich wouldn't be released unless he was president, well, that was proven very wrong. Putin was arming and saving up money (the most important part of his policy to ride out the sanctions) the whole time Trump was president. Also Xi has tried to broker a peace deal TWICE and Putin ignored him. Why wouldn't he ignore Trump?

Both presidents had a big issue to deal with, both dealt with them probably as well as any other person would have done with the powers of the US president. Both had economies that have been rising the positive wave coming off the back of the 2008 crisis, both have failed to deal with the long term problems of the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer and the rich controlling the US government.

So, if you praise Trump, you praise Biden.
