Yes....when only the government has guns then criminals will also have guns....normal, law abiding citizens...not so much...

Homeland Security has had problems with misplaced firearms in the past. The agency lost 289 firearms from 2006 through 2008, the DHS Office of Inspector General found in 2010.

Gosh, how could such a thing happen in a sprawling federal bureaucracy where no one is responsibe, accountable, etc. for anything?

And it's not just the missing weapons. What could bad guys do with the badges and cell phones that have also disappeared?
