Is he saying it is wrong to save lives today or is he saying that we were wrong not to save lives in Africa 200 years ago while slavery and hangings were rampant in the West? I am working on a new verse of "Kumbaya" that will not only mention every race known to man but will also include the hitherto overlooked KGBTLMNOP+-÷ by whatever comes along. It saddens me to near-acute depression that the only way they've been able to garner any recognition is by wearing pink pumps and paisley skirts. This must stop! When do we want it? Now!
