But the issue is not about congressional immunity.
Instead, it’s about what the 1st Amendment covers. And her statement seems to have been mere regurgitation of what the law has said about the illegals rights re the threat of removal proceedings.
I still can’t figure out why that wouldn’t be covered by the 1st Amendment free speech guarantee.
