I live 12 miles from the County where this took place. You brought up the Brock Turner case and agree that the punishment did not fit the crimes. The problem in the Loudon County case is the prosecution and the school board wanted no punishment and little attention whatsoever because it disrupted their vision of dicks under dresses in elementary schools. Worse, they wanted to throw the girl’s father in jail.

Every case is different. In this case, it was clear that the top priority was to protect the trans crowd. Ironically,,back to the Orlando Gay Nightclub shooting - the priority was to protect Muslims and gays were told to stand down.

No, the Orlando club, the shooter was killed by police. That's why he wasn't charged with anything.

No one had to "Stand down" for anything.

But I am glad you admit that every case is different. I think the Loundon kid got a much harsher sentence than Turner did, and probably not entirely fairly.
