Biden just sent major military branches, specifically the active duty US Army, to NC and TN to help in the disaster relief and many states sent their National Guard. Quelling a possible insurrection is no different than sending troops to Arkansas during the civil rights era.

So, now we’re getting into the how. Trump suggested the NG, which doesn’t fall under PC, so they could be used on American soil, and he said “if REALLY necessary” to use the military. At no point does he say he will unilaterally order the military to perform peacekeeping actions on US soil, that would take an act of Congress to happen.


he gives no indication on how he would go about that. He would have to request Congress give him that authority.


Also, you all are forgetting about one VERY important thing, he’s talking about Election Day…he won’t have any power to do anything until January 20th, so all of this is a moot point anyway. He won’t be able to call out anyone to quell riots on Election Day because Joe Biden will still be president
