Trump keeps on saying VAT is a tariff... It is a sales tax... It is applied on all goods.

Trump thinks US goods should be sold without sales taxes....

The truth of the fact is that a lot of US goods are not suitable for the EU market... US Foods don't meet EU food standards because Agribusiness lobbyists in US have lowered standards for profit... EU doesn't allow Hormones in Beef (cause Cancer), Chlorine washed chickens(animal welfare) and list of pesticides used in US (environmental and health), EU also has very strict control of GM crops (environmental diversity)...

US is much more pro Corporate and EU is more pro Citizen...

In my opinion people should go to jail for treason maybe, and this is because they actually used these other nation's in order to benefit their corporate bottom lines here, and they did this while keeping shuttered (a once thriving manufacturing base and their building's that are now barely open). Most of the old production buildings are being used now as shipping and receiving warehouses, and this in order to recieve their outsourced products through a low American tariff wall that was set in place here.

Trump thinks that these other countries were stiffing us with these higher tariffs, but wasn't it being run as a sheme to keep the bulk of U.S. product's and cheap labor not here, but in other countries while we then hurry down to Walmart to buy our next so called American made black & decker drill ? Pffft.....

I thought the biggest laugh yesterday was when Trump said his predecessors behind the president's desk are at fault for bad trade deals...

He signed the trade deal with Mexico and Canada.. Is he pulling the piss?
