And I have a LOT of relatives with Spanish last names. That is irrelevant to this discussion however. Every last one of those with Spanish last names including those of Spanish/Mexican heritage they married--except the two that are raving leftist nutjobs--want the illegals out of here. Immigrants should apply for admission to the USA and those who can be pretty much immediately self supporting and add to a healthy, stable, productive America are the ones who should be accepted. No more lottery. And no more migrants bypassing the established immigration laws to come into the country illegally.

Americans are far too ethical and soft hearted to shoot the migrants even though we can appreciate your coworker's obvious hyperbole. But it reminds me of Hombre's former barber who was a naturalized American citizen who immigrated as an adult from Mexico. He strongly wanted the USA to annex Mexico and make it part of the USA. Then he said people would be moving south instead of trying to come north illegally.
