Like Matt Gaetz, Martin had significant if quite different baggage that made him a lightning rod for criticism from the Democrats and enough Republicans to be a problem.

Apart from the highly questionable lawsuit from Smartmatic in which Jeannine Pirro was named as a defendant among others, Judge Jeannine is pretty much baggage free. She brings some impressive credentials and track record to the job. I hope she works out so well it becomes a permanent job if she wants it.
