What is about to unfold in Gaza with the persecution of Palestinian civilians at the hands of the Israeli government will go down in history as an atrocity of the worst kind, it will be referenced in lists that includes incidents like the massacre of 7000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica by Bosnian Serbs in July 1995 and the Rwandan genocide where 500,000 Tutsi men, women and children were murdered in Rwanda in 1994. Since March 2 the Israeli government has blocked food, water and medical supplies from entering into the city of Gaza which has around two million Palestinian civilians living in it. Food stocks are running critically low in Gaza many if not most Palestinian civilians living there are down to one meal a day which includes just starches no vegetable or meat is available. This lack of food is dangerous for all these human beings health but especially for the children where this lack of nutrition will affect their growth and leave many with lifelong health problems. The pictures of starving babies and children in Gaza is reminiscent of the worst scenes of starving children in Darfur Sudan in the early part of this century. The Philadelphia Inquirer had an article this past Sunday that said "Up to 20% of Gaza's estimated 55,000 pregnant women are malnourished, and half face high-risk pregnancies, according to the United Nations Population Fund, or UNFPD. In February and March, at least 20% of newborns were born prematurely or suffering from complications or malnutrition. ----- Records at Khan Younis' Nasser Hospital show miscarriages in January and February were double the same period in 2023. Yasmine Shnina, a Doctors Without Borders supervisor of midwives at Nasser Hospital, documented 40 miscarriages a week in recent weeks. She has recorded five women a month dying in childbirth, compared with two a year before the war.". It may not be politically correct to say this but when these Palestinian babies are born still-born or born so weak where they get infections that cause their lungs to fail and they die and this is all because their mothers did not get enough nutrition which is because of the food blockade by the Israeli government the Israeli government is responsible for the death of these Palestinian babies. If this blockade is kept up it will be honest to say that the Israeli government is murdering Palestinian babies in Gaza; on October 7th 2023 the world was rightfully outraged that Hamas terrorists killed helpless innocent Jewish babies, I hope the world will show the same outrage with the Israeli governments killing of helpless innocent Palestinian babies!
The world needs to stop this barbarism by the Israeli government in their starving two million civilians in Gaza; the world needs to take stark action to fight this outrageous wrong. The world, especially wealthy developed countries, need to commence massive public boycotts against Israeli companies; people need to boycott goods and services from Israeli companies, they need to boycott allowing Israeli companies and Israeli citizens to invest in their businesses similarly they need to boycott investing in Israeli companies and boycott tourism to the country of Israel! The country of America bares some, all-be-it a minor, responsibility for this mass starvation of Palestinians in Gaza because America is partly responsible for the military and economic strength of Israel because of the seventy five plus year since the nation of Israel's birth of America giving foreign aid and weapons to Israel, if it wasn't for America Israel wouldn't be in the position today where it could so arrogantly and brutally harm these Palestinians. Obviously America doesn't have the authority to physically go into Israel and lift the blockade but America does have a moral obligation to speak out and use non-military means to stop the blockade! Unfortunately, America has a President who is conscience depraved in the worst way and who has made the political calculation that helping Israel is the top priority and nothing else will be considered to impact that so President Trump cannot be counted on to remedy this moral atrocity by the Israeli government. But members of Congress are a different story they should pursue sending a letter to the Israeli government putting them on notice that Mr. Trump will not be President forever and when he isn't there will be a reckoning with the Israeli government if this blockade of vital humanitarian aid into Gaza isn't lifted immediately and permanently. This letter should say to the Israeli government that they are facing a shut-off of all foreign aid for a year or two and/or significantly reduced foreign aid for the indefinite future; further they are facing careful scrutiny of weapons and ammunition transfers from America in the future to insure that due care is being shown to avoid civilian casualties in the use of these weapons and further that in the future the U.S. President will not have the unilateral power to transfer these weapons to Israel because the Jewish lobby is too strong in America they are able to put too much pressure on a President to transfer weapons without moral safeguards or proper moral scrutiny being used, in the future a special bicameral committee will be set-up in Congress that will have veto power over the President's decisions to transfer weapons to Israel! Also, members of Congress should tell the Israeli government that now your trustworthiness on the Gaza issue is not full to address this we want you to allow the international press into Gaza to report what is going on so that the world will know how the Palestinian civilians in that city are being treated we want that safeguard and if the Israeli government is committed to acting like a good government they will allow this basic freedom to take place in Gaza!
One thing that really gets me about this whole issue of the deliberate and mass starvation of two million civilians in Gaza and the vaunted Pro-Life movement in America. You all are supposed to be such a moral group of people saving American from sinking into the evil Satan inundated society that some like to label America as. By your standards In Gaza you have babies, human lives, dying by the thousands the science is clear it is beyond reproach these babies are dying because their mothers are malnourished and they are malnourished because the Israeli government is blocking food from being transported into the city of Gaza. All you pro-lifers in America need to stop your love affair with your cult hero Donald Trump who is acting like a monster on this issue just like his monster buddy B B Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel; they don't consider or treat the Palestinians in Gaza like human beings because doing so would interfere with their political agenda. All you American pro-lifers need to find your pro-life principles that you wave around during election seasons like patriotic Americans wave the flag on national holiday parades on the Gaza food blockade issue!
