In a Republic, actually
‘“It’s unbelievable to me that the administration would target the National Park Service to prove their point on the federal budget,” says Kristen Brengel, senior vice-president of government affairs for the National Parks Conservation Association. “It just doesn’t compute.”

But Jarvis believes the assault is not really about the economy or government efficiency. Although the National Park Service experienced cost-cutting and other stresses during the first Trump administration, he fears this time there is a deliberate strategy to prevent national park employees from carrying out their mission to protect irreplaceable resources.

“There are ideologues who want to dismantle the federal government,” he says. “And the last thing they need is a highly popular federal agency that undermines their argument about how the government is dysfunctional.’

The lie that government is ‘dysfunctional.’

Did you just say "cripple"?

In my experience I'd say 87% of fulltime NPS employees are "snowflakes". The exceptions would be some of their "bunny police" and full time mechanics/drivers.

That's also not counting their contract employees that do most of the real grunt work who are drawn from the communities near the parks.

They were always on the local SD about people hunting on the Shenandoah NP. Mostly they were told, "if they are on the park then they are your problem".

My friend Dennis Kelly took a early retirement because the Park Service promoted a under qualified black woman to be PC.

He killed a sniper in the Dominic Republic when he was attached to the 82nd, 504 peace keeping force.

During his thirteen years as historian at Kennesaw Mountain, Ga., Dennis contributed in far-ranging ways. He enjoyed mentoring Living History volunteers who provided the public with dramatic demonstrations of the actions of those who suffered through the bloody repulse of Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman’s assaults in 1864, in the process becoming an admirer of the general.

With his trusty chainsaw he cleared areas of the park to restore them to their historic appearance. Evidence of the respect his expertise commanded is illustrated by his selection as president of the prestigious Civil War Round Table of Atlanta. Other highlights of his sojourn in the Peach State were his contributions to staff rides of the Infantry School at Fort Benning and authorship of “Kennesaw Mountain and the Atlanta Campaign: A Tour Guide.”

Hatin Clayton is a bot. Notice how he never answers?

Does the OP get paid by the thread. He complains more than anyone I know. Reminds me of some people I worked with--they could spend an hour telling you all the reasons why they couldn't do a 10 minute job. SMH.
He is not complaining, he is lying and promoting extreme left wing propaganda.

What kind of "research" do national parks perform?
.
One thing he told me (and it involved PC) was the Fort Pillow massacre.

He read ALL the records of the incident and walked them and looked at them thru a transit.

When he wrote his extensive summary of what ore than likely happened it did not jive with how the GOV wanted a (PC) version of the color soldiers being slaughtered and his report was shit canned. He told some colored were slaughtered but not in the amount of 300 that died that day.

He said there was (Union friendly small arms fire and a Union Gun ship fired fro down the river) which cause the rebels to keep firing at the trapped colored soldiers and just the fog of war played a large part in the battle's confusion.

From the left slated History Channel:

Controversy over the battle continues today. (see below)

Below: In other words until the GOV gets it written exactly how they want it...it will be continued to be written. He wrote his summary like 40 years ago.

Thank yo and God / Nature bless.

I never realized the disparities in different people's accounts to the extent I did when I visited Little Big Horn Nat'l Historic site. I went through the park site first and listened to the government's account of the battle. That afternoon, the Crow nation put on a reenactment and told their account to the attendees. The most glaring disparity was the government's claim that Custer was returned to DC and buried there. According to the Crow nation, he fell in the Little Big Horn river and died there. The announcer claimed that a woman stabbed his lifeless body in the ear with a knife, so that he could hear better in the afterlife, and floated his body down the river. Hmmm, I wonder who, if anyone is buried in Custer's DC grave.

She has another thread which is a match to this drivel . Another matter that is "crippling " America .

But it is so silly etc I cannot even remember its content .

They have not yet taught her how to mix threads so that they look different .
She probably needs extra pocket money after the holiday week-end .
