I kind of like what Texas and Florida were doing but I think the approach is 180 degrees out whack.

Instead of shipping illegals at state expense to all the corporate masters who hire them, why not bring all the employers to the border and they can round them up and transport them on their own dime.

Call it what you want, the southern border (and now the northern border too ) is leaking like a sieve. Vetting is grossly ineffective. What's more, most of the asylum claims are invalid. They are essentially being granted the relief they claim to seek before adjudication. This sort of border security malfeasance is seditious.

If the borders were open, you'd see all these people just walking through.
Address the immigration issue. Then you might have a prayer of solving this "crisis". Since most of these people are coming here to work, you'll first have to stop at the corporations that draw them here...and that..is going to be an uncomfortable conversation.
