Public school education has been run by left-wing wackadoodles for 100 years. Amazing how these clueless about guns & law enforcement airheads NEVER teach anything about this subject,

Consequently, every time an unarmed black suspect gets shot by a cop, they instantly blame the cop, instead of themselves, for not teaching those suspects that they cannot allow their hand(s) to disappear from cop's view, without getting shot.

This is a matter of life & death, yet not a word spoken of it in the classroom.

A few years ago, a survey was done among recent high school graduates. They were asked > "Is it against the law to hit somebody ?" 70% said no, completely unaware that it is a crime.

In Florida, similar to other US states, it is a "battery", (1st degree misdemeanor) punishable by one year in the County jail. Technically, any unrequested touching is a battery.

Teachers don't teach criminal law. What % of criminals in prison, didn't know they were breaking the law ? Could be a high number.
