A lot of people do not understand how Unemployment works. They think each time the Government extends Benefits people keep getting Unemployment. That's not true. Once a person reaches 99 weeks, they are done. The Extensions only extend the time you have to draw 99 weeks.
So, Every single week Thousands of American draw their 99th week and drop off the rolls. The Net Result is 1 less person counted as on Unemployment, who is then NOT counted as unemployed anymore either. Driving the Unemployment rate down Artificially.
That's the dirty little secret that so called "journalists" aren't reporting and a big part of the reason why the unemployment rate is going down despite millions of people still unemployed or underemployed. The real rate of unemployment currently stands at slightly over 15%.
