So, now that they are legally able to marry, and employers are reacting to that fact, they are still unhappy with all that inevitably entails, such as no more benefits for 'domestic partners'. And their reasoning that they can't sign up for Obamacare is that they don't know if their pre-existing conditions will be covered? Wasn't that one of the biggest reasons for Obamacare?

Now that same-sex marriage is legal in Pennsylvania, Allegheny County will require proof of marriage for same-sex couples seeking benefits.

Allegheny County announced last week plans to cut off benefits to same-sex partners of its employees. The move was made because same-sex couples can now marry in Pennsylvania. Same-sex couples receiving benefits from Allegheny County must now show proof of marriage, or lose their domestic partner benefits.
