A more pertinent question would be why they skip the many safe ports of call between the flea pits they come from and Europe. An asylum seeker, which is the status they claim when they arrive or are caught by toothless immigration officials, must seek asylum at their first safe port of call. No-one can deny that there are many safe ports of call between Europe and somewhere like Pakistan or Somalia. There are, but those countries aren't foolish enough to make benefits/welfare available to the pondlife from the armpits of Africa and Asia once they've achieved sanctuary. So they ignore those less profitable safe havens and make a beeline for places where they know there's a surplus of bleeding heart liberals waiting to open someone else's wallet to pay for all the scroungers they believe we should feel sorry for. When their foolish naivity is ruthlessly betrayed, they ignore it and call anyone who doesn't an evil racist, or some such accusation.
Having said that, though, it isn't strictly the liberals' fault. After all, Europe currently finds itself in the midst of a sinister and destructive social experiment, where the cancerous E.U. is attempting to do away with any semblance of nationalism and the nation state by diluting the indigenous white population to erase any sense of identity that might stand in the way of their socialist utopia: The federal superstate of Europe.
