Hate to piss on your Cornflakes.....but carriers are better equipped now than they were when I was living on one.
And let us not forget about the safety-net they always surround them with. They put destroyers and cruisers 50-100 miles out from them, which use their own radar and weapons systems to shoot down missiles, drones, and aircraft that are a threat to the battle group.
We are currently on a similar war footing to WWII.
Despite the Democrats efforts to weaken our military, we're still good at defending ourselves and even more tech advanced to kill the enemy.
Doesn't matter what advanced weapons systems the Chinese sell those rags, we'll kill them before they get a chance to hide after they fire on us.
