It would seem that lobbing some missiles into a knowingly evacuated airbase is largely symbolic... especially if it was a calculated response to a 'false flag' event. Most don't question Trump's authority on this action as it is widely perceived to be an exigent circumstance within the purview of presidential executive actions, swiftly and decisively executed... Could this be tied into the seemingly imminent - 'clear and present threat' to Americans here at home... Kim fat boy Un with his nuclear ICBM?
Trump's options for North Korea include placing nukes in South Korea
It is interesting that the leader of the TriComs' just happened to be there smiling with Trump, directly before and after the strikes, at Mar a Lago. Ostensibly the real 'meat' of their discussions is on North Korea, not Assad and a few 'firecrackers' that got lobbed into an evacuated air field...
