USMB Coffee Shop IV

LOL. Now I'm struggling to decide whether to reprimand OhPleaseJustQuit and westwall for grossly and severely and blatantly violating the rules against no politics in the Coffee Shop. :) But technically climate change is not in itself political. So I won't. 😁
.

Sorry. I'll be better. Thanks for reminding me.

You wanted me to reprimand you?

When it comes to brewed coffee my first choice is Arabica but I'm usually drinking instant Taster's Choice House Blend ..

mmm and btw .. I used to be far less boring .. 😄

I got spoiled when hubby managed a Startbuck's. My choice is now almost anything but Starbuck's.

Honestly, Costco has an obscure brand of organic espresso roast that I like. Can't think of the name right now.

One cup of brewed coffee keeps me pretty well dialed up all day, especially if it's turned into a rich and sweet coffee concoction..

I can think of a number of words to describe Lumpy. Boring isn't one of them. :)

This week we have been moving my 98-yr-old Aunt Betty out of independent living to a new facility where she will have assisted living and memory care. You would think this would be relatively simple moving from one small apartment to another. But oh no. A looooooooooooooooong day's hard work plus handling all the details of finances, address changes, etc. That's with hirng a moving company to move most of it.

But the new facility is great. Wonderful views. Wonderful staff. Expensive as hell but I think worth it.

Been on an extended road trip down in Dixie this spring....Stop #1 was a business & personal development confab in Texas...A lot of the usual mindset things, some new ones that I hadn't been exposed to, a few breakouts to work with new techniques, and of course the hideously expensive upsells that are a feature of these expos.

But for me, the best speaker/presenter of all was this guy from Columbia...If this guy can't at least brighten your day, if not motivate the hell out of you, then you're dead.

BTW, he has a law degree...

The reab center and school he he created....

For those who don't know Ollie, he is a charter member of the Coffee Shop, retired Army, pretty much single handedly keeps the American Legion alive and doing good things in his small Ohio community.
