RIP Coach Grant. I hope there is a “happy hunting ground” in the afterlife for you to enjoy. Thanks for all the great memories of the Vikings back when I was a kid. They’ve never been as good without you.

Grant was a great coach in frigid Minnesota

Back when they used to play outdoors, Grant wouldn’t let his team have heaters.
The other team would be huddled around the heaters while the Vikes acted like it didn’t affect them

That dude was the real deal. You can't replace men like him nowadays. Remember the playoff game outdoors when it was bitterly cold, below zero, and he walked out to flip the coin at the start in just a short sleeved shirt? He should always be the face of the Minnesota Vikings.
