Hoo boy..... This is going to make some people very very unhappy. He will be thrust aside, ostracized and absolutely not invited any of the high table Christmas parties being held in DC this year.

Interestingly because he's a businessman he recognizes the value of the exposure. Can't fault him for that!

Having said that this has to be the highest energy piece of election footage... bar none... I have ever seen!

I actually think it's somewhere in South America! Just incredible.

.

I can't watch that video enough!

Just like I could never get enough of President Trump exiting his rallies to the song, and I think I watched nearly every one of his rallies!

I hope they blare it good and loud the minute he's inaugurated! And I want to see his entire administration do "the Dance". I want to see plenty of signs and flags in the crowd that say, "I'm back, bitches!"

A little bit of celebration, and then time to get down to business!

Great Doesn't Grovel

I was just noticing that the formerly American "Go for it!" attitude in Modern China is best expressed in the flamboyant attitude of the classical pianists Yuja Wang and Lang Lang.

Donald did send that tune to #1 in the charts for the first time ever.
You want to hear something funny? My father, may he RIP, was a refined, reserved gentleman whose musical interests were primarily classical - with an occasional evening at the opera thrown in.

As we were preparing for his 85th birthday party - an elegant affair at a posh hotel - I asked him if there were any particular songs he’d like the band to play. And he said…..

YMCA.

I almost fell off my chair.

What does it matter? If anyone pays royalties for it no one can do jackshit about it.

The LGBTQ anthem from the 70's?

Gotta wonder what's up with that.

Is that the song He uses when he does that little dance that looks like He’s jerking off two guys at the same time?

You’re kidding, right? The Village People were gay.

Honestly I never really paid too much attention to it. I can remember seeing pictures of the stage show more than once.... And drawing some incomplete conclusions from it.

I think the song has grown in life of its own over the decades. It's arguably one of the most easily recognizable tunes on the planet.

But thanks for the info.....
I guess that explains the conundrum.
So then shouldn't the LGBTQ....ad infinitum.... community be all hyped all over this? Or do they see it as cultural appropriation?
