Republican...In...Name...Only. RINO. They are democrats who put themselves on the republican ticket to dilute the republican base, being divisive.
If by ALEC, You are referring to the American Legislative Exchange Council. It is a "non-partisan" organization, who prefer a smaller government and free markets (i.e., pro-business and less government involvement). There are democrats, independents and republicans that make up members of the organization.
If you mean some other organization, I have no idea what that is.
As for George W. Bush, when he was leaving office, he was actually onboard with the EU idea of government. One central governing world body made up of member nations. His last statement when leaving the White House was, "There's a New World Order coming and you're going to love it." That EU, WEF, Globalist world view was apparently agreeable to him. By getting onboard with the WEF, he betrayed his party and thankfully, he was at the end of his term. I hated him for saying, "The Constitution is just a damned piece of paper." It's our supreme law and a damn good one. It's why millions upon millions have fled socialist nations, military junta nations and despotic dictators to live here.
The current administration has jumped "whole-hog" into the WEF, Globalist, Free Movement of Peoples, agenda. They are the enemy of our Constitution.

No matter who the democrats put forward voters must come out in large numbers in order to defeat the electoral college, ALEC,MAGA and all other RINO's. So I say let's cut the crap.

I will vote Vice Pres Harris, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar, Mayor Pete or AOC. All of these names can defeat Trump simply because voters will show up by the truck loads. The voters will consist of Progressive Democrats for America, Democrats, Moderate Republicans, Catholics for Women's Right To Choose, liberals, Green Party thinkers and last but not least women by the millions.

Yes it is a must that we come together to save our Democracy and a host of other rights. Coming together to SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION, ENFORCE THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR MANY LIFESTYLES.

Presidential debates are worthless, not a great source of useful information and require all candidates to be mindful of each other....... demonstrating a certain amount of discipline.

I flip back and forth on whether or not this is a good idea.

To me, the EC is like baseball's World Series. The team which scores the most can still lose the Series. This has happened a few times.

I understand the Democrats' desire to end the EC. The GOP has lost the popular vote 8 of the last 9 elections.

But do we really want 8 out of 9 presidents to be Democrats?

I believe in the rule of law. We can't lock up Crooked Donald just because we don't like him.

The evidence is very strong he broke several laws, and he should definitely be tried and judged by a jury of his peers. He should not be allowed to manipulate the system in ways which ordinary citizens would never be able to do.
