Another asshole comment from the imbeciles of the board, the band sucked, the venue sucked, the sound sucked, the star of the show sucked AND he brought politics into it. The only reason I sat through 4 songs was my giving them the benefit of the doubt you stupid fuck! You fucking assholes are hard to believe!

The OP says that I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the time I was there. I knew that over the last few years he sometimes brought up politics at his concerts but my OPEN MINDEDNESS allowed me to go anyway......... it was my sister's idea, I wouldn't have chose to see Santana but I gave him a chance for her. So there ass wipe, you pre judging me was wrong just as the other libtards were wrong about me........ suck dick!

100 bucks a ticket....i would have research the whole thing first...venue sucking you can find out pretty quick...how damned old is carlos now? anyone knows voice quality deminishes as one ages...i dont go see dylan due to that...why spend the money? as far as politics i dont like it when the guy at the gas station starts or the paid entertainment starts...many so called artist forget they are still paid entertainment.

Carlos Santana isn't a singer ace, he used to be a great guitar player, he sucked the other night. How exactly was I suppose to find out about the venue, it is the Hard Rock Casino, they are all about music, supposedly. They advertised reworking the place just for Carlos and his band's stay there. Like I have said, I have seen different variations of his band for 40 years, at least 10 different times, always great concerts........ do any of you clowns read?

100 bucks a ticket isn't a lot, this isn't a local band playing at a bar in town, it's Vegas........ do you have a clue about which you want to lecture me? Typical lib, spout off about something you know nothing about......... the whole point to this OP in the first place was to warn everyone about the Santana concert in Vegas......... geez.

And I for one appreciate it. Saw him frequently in the late 60's and early seventies but it sounds like he's turned to shit, I just stick with his old stuff and try to remember him how he used to be. Soul Sacrifice at Woodstock is something I can watch over an over.

I would imagine that we have seen well over 100 concerts between the 2 of us and expect a certain amount of professionalism from the bands, didn't get it and I was surprised because of my experience seeing this band so many times over the years. The concert was billed as a review of his greatest hit and that there was an open invitation to other musicians to come sit in with him, it sounded like it had a lot of potential. Instead, in an attempt to try to cater to a younger crowd, he had a bunch of neophytes playing with him, clowns that put their own pathetic spin to his great old music, THEY SUCKED! The incompetent asshole at the mixing board had a tin ear from listening to the crap of today, they needed someone with some real experience to man the board, someone that has heard great music.

I didn't spend the 300 dollars and the trip to Dallas to see McCartney for the reason you stated, I would rather remember him the way he was the last time I saw him in 1976, he was flawless then.

Three of my brothers walked out behind me, we were all having problems with our ears ringing from the ridiculously loud volume. The volume along with the pathetic mixing which made the drums way to dominate, the vocals indistinguishable, and the weak guitar licks sound like they were coming from a Wal Mart special is what made me walk out. My sister knows me well and had no problem with my actions. Like you said, it was only 100 bucks, you would sit there listening to shit to get your moneys worth? Sorry that I have higher standards than you when it comes to music and cooking.

The VENUE SUCKED, THE SOUND SUCKED, THE BAND SUCKED.......... the venue and the sound is the Hard Rock's responsibility, they should provide a refund when they fail in such an epic way.
