Was Patton right all along?

To explain an earlier post, given the strategic situation and the means at its disposal in August 1945, the single conceivable threat to the U.S. was the U.S.S.R., and America was in an historically perfect position to eliminate it. One bomb at the right moment over the Kremlin and the fragile structure of Stalin's dictatorship would have collapsed entirely. It would be easy to elaborate some story about Russia's intentions and secret information. Anyway, it would be a fait accompli and the world would live with it, having no choice. Democracies in Eastern Europe and all their productivity all through the 40's, 50's and 60's, plus a Europe free of American bases and nuclear threats. It would have been far more humaine than what happened.

Nuking a WW2 ally?

It is what the U.S. did to Iran in '53.

Rubbish. The Shah had the support of the Mullahs and the majority of Iranians not inside Soviet occupied territory. The U.S. saved Iran from a much worse fate; see the Soviet satellites and their fates compared to Iran's over the same years.

Democrat icon FDR referred to Stalin as "Uncle Joe". The Russians were our allies. Only modern political whores would defend an outrageous claim of using nuclear devices on Russian civilians after they suffered so much during WW2.

You admit it was a coup d'état, so it is by no means fake. You merely adjust for ends being justified.

You can't admit the U.S. actually headed off a coup, can you? The U.S. always has to be the bad guy in all narratives. It's a prerequisite for a whole agenda of lies and half-truths. One tactic is to entirely avoid bringing up the fact that the Soviets invaded Iran and held half the country; most people would never know this fact if they went by the left wing anti-Western narratives.

Another is the fact that the Soviets were never going to allow free elections anywhere in their empire. But of course never a peep about that, just how evul America is n stuff.

So you don't like their government. The US and the British killed democracy in Iran to steal their oil for 6 cents on the dollar.

The US government committing coups and wars all over the world for the benefit of big corporations and wealthy elites is an old story repeated numerous times. Somehow dumb Americans can’t accept this fact, even though it’s evident.
