It is interesting to look at lists of where firearms and ammunition are manufactured and the resultant effect that will have on future costs given Trump's moronic belief in tariffs.

I was able to beat Trump's recent tariffs by purchasing a new Springfield Armory 1911, in January. But much to my disappointment, I learned that my preferred brand of ammo is actually manufactured in the Czech Republic. .So, in the future, I will make sure my ammo is manufactured in the USA. As to Springfield, from what I can determine, the vast majority of their manufacture and assembly process takes place in the USA. It does appear that they source some components globally, which will be subject to Trump's new taxes..

Trump's recent application of tariffs to the import of steel will most likely affect American firearms manufacturers and cause price increases for gun purchasers. A big question is when will we see price increases at gun retail outlets. Will they wait until their costs actually increase,or will they go ahead now and reprice their existing inventory? It's gonna be bigly interesting.

Corporate greed will be a problem. The Democrats taught me that.

Maybe this will help keep firearms out of the hands of the bad actors, like Hunter Xiden and Gaige Paul Grosskreutz
