Take aways:
1. Bring back geography. New Jersey needs it.
2. Voluntary quarantine doesn't work.
3. It's a little harder to track the number of people one has had contact with then was once believed.
4. Whatever policy that name your hospital has in place should probably make a greater effort of making sure that information goes down to the lowest in line.
5. Vested interests decide the panic or the lack thereof.

The biggest problem (My Wife is a MSN at a local hospital) is the children coming in - no vaccinations of any kind (for the most part). Tuberculosis is the major problem these kids carry into the US but they also bring in a variety of other communicable diseases in as well. They waltz into Emergency Rooms demanding their "free" treatment and when isolation is recommended by the Docs - they leave - spreading their diseases to those whose parents have been too stupid to have their children innoculated.

Sorry - but that is the way it is today.
