My favorite is "Love Stinks" by the J. Geils Band. It's funny and very true, unfortunately. Another favorite of mine is "You're Breaking My Heart" by Harry Nilsson. The lyrics feature the infamous line, "You're breaking my heart and making me blue, so F*ck You". Another favorite is the serious song, "Bad Love" by Eric Clapton. Another one by Clapton, his cover of a blues song, "Third Degree" is also quite good. So what are some of YOUR favorites?

"Shot through the heart and your to blame . . . "
Bon Jovi (You give love a bad name)

"Been dazed and confused for so long it's not true
Wanted a woman, never bargained for you
Lots of people talk and few of them know
Soul of a woman was created below, yeah . . ."
Led Zeppelin (Dazed and Confused)

Thanks, two very good examples of love gone bad.

You already covered my standby:

Funny to think that the same guy who gave us that song also gave us this one:

Or this one:

Okay, maybe not that last one...

Then there's this one about love gone Waaaaay Bad:

Oh yes, good choice! "I'm going down to shoot my old lady, 'cause I caught her messin' around with another man, and that ain't too cool". What menacing lyrics! Jimi didn't write them or the music, but it was a great cover. I don't THINK I've ever heard the original version.
