Every election cycle, we see the typical witch hunts to determine whether or not the nominally conservative candidate has paid is "fair share" (despite their being no objective determination for such a concept).

So, time to pony up: What is your personal policy for paying taxes?
Trump should release all tax returns. Then there are no questions. Every candidate in the past 50 years has. It may help him.
Ford didn't...

I invest in my business and pay as little as possible, like any businessman I know. If I don't spend it on the business that's more income so higher taxes. I'd rather spend on me than all the wet dreams big government leftists can dream up.

I also don't understand people that are employees and get all happy about getting a big check back. I don't know how many times I've heard "I'm getting $5k back for my taxes!" That just means they paid $5k too much. But they see it as free money from the government. I guess that's why they are employees.

I pay them to support our troops, firefighters, cops, and even my own government salary.

Majority of U.S. Adults Believe They Pay More Tax than Donald Trump

Americans Still Say Upper-Income Pay Too Little in Taxes

Keep thinking it doesn't matter, Trupbots.

If you think Trump pays Zero taxes, you are even a bigger moron than I thought.

He pays his employees payroll taxes. His hotel properties collect sales taxes. He pays property taxes.

All goods and services include a large portion of embedded taxes. Something to which you loons are totally oblivious.

I think the difference is, most of us don't have access to teams of tax lawyers to pay Zero tax on nine-figure assets. So we do our best to figure out which deductions we are entitled to, hope we get it right.

So to try to claim Joe claiming a mortgage deduction on Schedule A is EXACTLY the same as Donald Trump posting a nine-figure loss on his tacky casinos is just silly.

Now, if Trump really thinks his manipulation of the tax code makes him clever, then he should release his returns like every other candidate for the last 40 years has.

Yeah! Just ask John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, hiLIARy and Bubba about the armies of lawyers that allow them to shield income...and better yet, ask Obama how he is able to live a BILLIONAIRE lifestyle as a government employee.

Maybe want to explain that last part?

You really need this explained? Think about how much income or assets Obama would need to live in a house the size of the White House with the servants, security, private airplanes, etc. His lifestyle as President (which is paid for by taxpayers) is something he doesn't declare as income. His vacations in one year alone cost taxpayers more than most people earn over their entire lifetimes.

But let's focus on Trump LEGALLY keeping as much of his own money as possible instead of how our Government has bloated up into an unaccountable leviathan upon which corrupt kleptocratics feed.

my policy is to stay one step ahead of the IRS until a republican is elected, then after that.

first i cheat on my taxes by not reporting income,
then i write an extra check to the government to pay my Fair share. :):)

I don't give a shit about "how much",

I want to know who, where, and when Trump conducted his shady business ventures.

Fuck Trump, he's no better than any other businessman.

But you don't give a hoot about clintons dealings with muslims who hate americans, pay for play, and the list goes on and on and on and on and on.

They probably wrote some of those laws.

I have no problem with reinvesting in his businesses but have him show us how he is doing it.
He has personal taxes and I assume some or all of his corporations are C corps so let's see their returns also.

He said he will after the audit. Are you guys asleep?

As much as I dislike the IRS, I have an accountant who follows tax law but knows how to use it for his clients advantage.
I had an ex IRS agent do my taxes one year. I by god never made that mistake again. Her entire focus was dinging me for everything she could.
You can redo your taxes up to three years after they are filed.
Didn't think I could unfuck myself. That was 30 years ago though.
