It doesn't. Accordingly, we can extrapolate that Sola Scriptura is wrong and so I'm going to baptize my goldfish.

That Bible I know from beginning to end. I've been doing in-depth Bible study for many years.

God says, ...and man become a living soul. Process that, as no animal can ever be a living soul.

no animal can confess with its mouth that... and believe in your heart that God...

So women are out of luck too, eh?

The Hebrew word "nepesh" or soul applies to all of the animal kingdom as well as humans.
The nepesh that sins will die.
However....
Mankind is different from the animal kingdom in that the animals were simply spoken into existence.
Man was formed by God's hands and then God's own breath gave humanity its life.
A very different process.

Ceremonial/ritual bathing is common in Judaism but is most closely associated with the priesthood who would do this in a Mikveh before putting on the clothing the priests wore to perform their duties. There were various "denominations" of Jews as well. People would be ceremonially washed when joining a particular denomination.

Jesus named this practice a "baptism" for his followers which is a Greek word referring to dyeing cloth or yarn. (No computerized color matching and the use of Greek terms was assuredly scandalous instead of Aramaic or Hebrew.)

Baptisms are simply an ordinance. A symbolic ritual that would get you killed in a theocracy. Of course lots of various procedures have been built around this practice and they have changed drastically over the years many times. From fasting for 3 days to waiting right before you died so you won't have a single sin afterwards.

We do not live in a theocracy. There's no state sponsored religion. It's still legal to be a Christian or Muslim or Jewish....for a while at least.

Love the Sola Scriptura label .
Sounds so much nicer than Invented Miind Control Mechanism .
'Sola Scriptura' has nothing to do with mind control. It is Martin Luther's assertion that the Catholic Church and traditions of the Early Church can be in error in regards to matters of faith.

You Space Alien Worshippers are ruled by your masters , The Elohim , through ritual .
It works a treat for keeping Gullibles fearful and compliant .

Incidentally, the Essene Monk invented nothing about Baptism . He simply took over from his cousin John .

I am surprised you cannot see that this type of explanation refers only to Control , regardless of whether Luther was correct or not .

It equates to , Believe, or , reap the consequences .
Signed , Bully Boy .

In the past, has your mind been controlled? Do you feel you have broken free of mind control?

It's different for a great many of us. When I was a small child, and there was nothing particularly wrong with my life, I looked at the world and found myself thinking: "Someone made a mistake. I don't belong here."

I am not a person of faith in God, because I know God is, have known this with a certainty since I was ten. For me, the Commandments and the Beatitudes are guideposts through this life, much like the signs we see here on earth: Danger, Quick Sand; Danger, Riptide; Danger, Rock Slide Area.

God is the purest love there is. If one wishes to love like God loves, have His state of mind, there is a path to follow, and dangers along the way. This is not God threatening, "Do it my way or I'll throw you in quicksand, a riptide, a lake of fire, or hit you with a rock," It is God saying, "Here are my signposts so that you can avoid all of that." God's Commandments and Beatitudes are no more "mind control" than "Danger, Quicksand" is mind control. God's Commandments are signs of His great love.

To Catholic cultists, every non-Catholic is a Lutheran. Lol.

I stick to the Bible. The Apostle Paul said the scriptures are sufficient for the "man of God to be COMPLETE". The abomination called "The Vatican" says Paul is wrong as evidenced by the plethora of new doctrines they invented over the centuries.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God[a] may be complete, equipped for every good work.

I don't know very much about the bible but I've been told by those who do know say that animals cannot go to heaven.

Catholics stick with Day One, which includes Apostolic traditions. New Testament scripture came decades after that, therefore both Tradition and Scripture is the kept in Catholicism, Orthodox, and Coptic churches.

Amen and neither can a human infant.
right, but God placed a clause in the Holy Bible that says unto children is given the Kingdom of heaven. Babies and kids automatically go to heaven as long as they are under the age of accountability.

Undoubtedly.

Will a person who believes and follows the "Great Commandment" go to Heaven when they die?

What say you? A person who follows the great Commandment loves God with all their heart, all their soul, and all their mind. If all is directed towards God, what would keep him/her from an eternity with God?
