“The massive support extended to the State of Israel by millions of Christian supporters of Zionism is overtly motivated by a single consideration:that the return of the Jews to the Holy Land will be a prelude to their acceptance of Christ(when he returns) or, for those who fail to do so, to their physical destruction.”
"Simply stated, Christian fundamentalism’s only interest in the Zionist state of Israel is in assisting it to become the instrument for bringing about, as foretold by the Christian Bible, the end of the world in a final battle at Armageddon between the forces of good and evil.In this scenario the Jews will have a choice – either to junk their Judaism and become Christians, in which case they will be beamed up to heaven, or to be annihlated… It seems to me that there’s a case for saying that Christian fundamentalism is, potentially, a far bigger threat to Jews and Judaism"

f you look at history over longer periods of times, you will see some general patterns in wihch Christian communities to thru periods of "love" for Jews, in which they spend lots of effort to convert them -- then they get frustrated with their failures and start to blame 'the jews" for all sorts of character flaws as an explanation for the failed conversion efforts; and then outright hatred and retalitaion against the jewish community -- and then it repeats.

A rare example in microscosm is Martin Luther, who went thruough this patter himself in his own lifetime.

We are now in a period in which Christians were shocked by the Holocaust into seeing the evil in thinking ill about Jewish "character" etc and is now again in a period of love and conversion efforts. If history holds true, it won't last forever and we will sink into the blaming/frustration period and then start harming and oppressing again.

I have some hope that the Holocaust was such a shock that it might have changed this pattern. But its way too early to tell.

You would like to think that Christians could just leave us Jews alone and not be so obsessed with us, but they can't because they see themselves as an extension of the jewish people and have included the Jewish bible as part of their own scripture. Since their history is rooted in Jesus being a Jew, it is especially galling to them that Judaism still exists, and that Jews still don't convert. So even tho there are only a few Jews in the world, christians will be focused on them to a very disproportionate extent.

They believe that when Jesus comes back, he's going to land in Israel.

So the have to be nice to the Jews.

Not true.

We are afraid of God so if there ever was an issue between us an Jews, we are afraid of God. Our example is to love the Jews.
God will have a remnant of Jews that are saved.
We invite anyone to become saved and go to heaven.
Jesus is Jewish and my boss is a Jewish carpenter.

To do anything else is to fight God's divine plan.

Christian Fundamentalists Are Irrelevant: Only Jews Matter On Israel

Advocating Israel does not mean that Christian fundamentalists accept Judaism as a legitimate means of salvation after Jesus. Nor does it translate into genuine love for the Jews, a departure from the traditional teachings of the Church that, for centuries, viewed Jews as 'Christ-killers'. Since Christian fundamentalists believe that Christianity is the only religion acceptable to God, and that, as the Bible claims, salvation is possible only through Jesus, they insist that Jews cannot be 'saved' unless they convert to Christianity.

I am not sure you are correct for two reasons.
They can be justified by faith.
Some already believe in Yeshua.

I would never ever trust a christian "taking care of" jews. Seriously...watch your backs.

Why does the radical left care what fundamentalist Christians believe? The fundamentalist jihad controls most of the Middle East and they don't care much for either Christians or Jews.

I would say fundamentalist Christians are spiritually enlightened. The Jews worship the God of Abraham. So do Christians. Why would there be any conflict? Also, Christians see the Jews and the people of Israel as being protectors of God's Holy Land. There is a natural affinity.

What is strange is why this would concern you.
