No state is “sending” criminal gangs. Tariffs are a good tool when carefully applied while also negotiating, but doing it wholesale like this could end up (and actually seems to be) driving other countries to seek other markets and partnerships, particularly on top of tbe other things he has been doing. We are getting a reputation as an untrustworthy bad faith partner.

He is correct in that previous administrations and the Congress have utterly failed to address these issues.

The House is razor thin, and most Presidents lose the midterms.
