Will Alien life be friendly towards humans??!!, Remember the Alien.?Xenomorph.!!??

I remember one famous astronomer pointed out, that the concept of "Star Wars" was unlikely. Since far apart civilizations would likely never be on the same rung of the technological ladder. So the two sides would likely be so mis-matched.
I first thought that if the two civilizations traded, the more primitive one would quickly progress to be even. Then I thought, what could the more primitive one offer to the more advanced one. Could not think of anything.

Our own history gives plenty of examples.
The Spaniards had advanced technology to trade for gold.

You could have something as simple as an advanced planet trading for water, or a bunch of useless di-lithium crystals.

If the aliens had the tech to transport super-heavy gold across interstellar distances, they could probably make their own gold or mine some of our asteroids and not deal with Earth's gravity. Water and gases could easily be scooped from a gas giant planet.

I submit to you all, will all this search for Alien life be in our best interest.?!?! Remember the movie Alien.?!! Not all these Alien creatures will view humans in ways we can comprehend.!!? The Alien life form may not view humans, in the same way see them.??!!

I think War of the Worlds is a better example ... in reverse ... what evil deadly viruses and diseases with the aliens bring to us? ... movies and books all assume small pox is the same throughout the known universe ...

Did Christopher Columbus care about infecting the native populations? ... or was he only concerned with making a profit? ... greed is the only thing that'll drive an alien this far ...

... but only Earth has food ...

If you recall from the Alien franchise, the xenomorphs were merely biological weapons. The actual "aliens" were the Engineers, who created the xenomorphs. I'm not sure the Engineers could be considered hostile or not hostile to humans, more like indifferent. We were just an experiment to them.

Can you provide an example of a primitive civilization that survived the encounter with a more technologically advanced one? Hostile or not, just meeting an alien race will radically change us forever. That is the idea behind Star Trek's Prime Directive and Fermi's Paradox tells me the aliens are already here.
There are MANY examples of it. Go to Youtube and type "contacting a tribe for the first time".

Then Aztec's would probably agree.
The aztecs met men who werent interested in studying tribes. They just wanted gold. Some men are bad, especially before modern times, but most men are not.

They don't need to be hostile. They only need for their technology or biology to be harmful to life on earth.
Earth biology would be far more likely to harm them, than them harming us. They would have zero immunities to our viruses, and the aliens would likely be virus free. Advanced aliens would probably have figured out how to remove their own viruses before they made the journey here.

Thats an absurd claim. The existence of radio waves in space, doesnt mean that every alien world will "naturally" invent radar tech.

You obviously do not understand nor follow the history of science and technology. Do you really think all of the great classical music composers like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Vivaldi, etc., all came up with their compositions beginning in the 1700s all together by accident? Do you think it was just a coincidence that right around the same time that Isaac Newton discovered the calculus that Leibniz was independently having the exact same ideas? Did you think that while the USA was secretly developing nuclear fission, that Russia just happened to have had the very same ideas? You really think it a wild accident that both Darwin and Wallace were both pursuing the evolution of species idea right around the same time?

From the discovery of radio waves comes experimentation leading to their reflection and behavior. This leads to anyone seeking a military application to come to the same realization that detecting these reflections first sent out and detected on their return would make an effective early warning system. This is true in most every field because all researchers and experimenters are faced with the same problems whose solutions are all sought out under the same physical law conditions.

While the space aliens may be far past using radar themselves, they will certainly understand it and expect it as a likely technology within our grasp, as all future technologies are built upon a similar ladder of past developments.

I believe there are several different species in our universe. I also believe that several have
located and visited us.....for centuries. I also believe that some of those are hostile towards us,
and others are protecting us from the others. I do believe that President Eisenhower did have
a meeting with one of the species. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall listening to that.
That meeting might very well have been a meeting to protect us......a treaty.
There are sites all over the world several thousand years old containing massive stone buildings and structures of impossible size and precision. "Impossible" given the timeline of human development over the last 10 thousand years. IMO the only explanation is humans were taught and aided in the construction of these sites by advanced beings.

Put another way, why would primitive man living in hunter-gatherer clans suddenly say "Hey! Let's build monuments with 50 ton stones and spend our lives shaping, lifting and fitting them into place!"

Season 6 of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch is coming up in May.
There have been scientific experiments with worm holes/portals
that are found in Utah, and other areas. Ufo's just pop up and disappear
into thin air and the scientists there have proven the existents of these
portals.
Just throwing that out there, a lot of questions have been answered. and more questions created.

Nah, a typical handgun will ruin any aliens day that encounters one. Unless they bring some planet destroying weapon that wipes us all out (why even bother coming here if thats the plan?), then they are in for guerilla warfare, and it would suck badly for them.
Encounters with them suggest they can control your mind and thoughts. Your arms have no chance with them

It's difficult to imagine aliens we can't defeat. Ever watch an Octopus nail a Crab and eat one?

Since we are basically an invisible speck hidden in the enormous vastness of the cosmos, and with our incredible distance from other stars and a speed limit of the speed of light, we are damn unlikely to have to worry about visits from alien species — ever.

And thus it doesn’t matter whether any alien species is friendly or not.
