In contrast, Donald Trump is the person America needs to turn things around at the moment. Knowing this, Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt, who is from the battleground state of Wisconsin, went before a House Judiciary Committee in Milwaukee last week to warn of what will happen if Trump loses.

“If Trump doesn’t win this election, we are screwed,” Schmidt said that one of his fellow Wisconsin sheriffs told him, saying another told him “people don’t understand how bad it is.”
Turning to his own experience, Schmidt said his county was now dealing with an increase in drug trafficking from cartels from Mexico.
“I’m fearful for my family. I’m fearful for the family of those that serve with me,” he said of dealing with an influx of cartel violence and drug trafficking.
