Money is something every single person everywhere needs and uses on a constant basis. Who would be stupid enough to try and cater to some weird fringe group? All you do is alienate 80% of average everyday people which are the ones as a whole hold and spend most of the money.

Besides the alphabet people are the smaller portion of Americans and half of them are social retards, mentally ill and lazy. A lot of them only have menial jobs so their bank accounts probably have less than 1000 dollars total.

It was a neo-bank, aka on-line only. There are 1000s of them out there these days so they try anything they can to get a niche clientele.

They did not go under due to their target customer but due to the fact the whole thing was a scam to start with.
